OUR WHY

Women Investors Africa was founded to address the significant gender gap in the investment sector in Africa. Women entrepreneurs and investors face numerous challenges including limited access to finance, training, mentorship, and networking opportunities. As a result, women are underrepresented in the investment sector and their businesses often struggle to start and grow.

We believe that empowering and supporting women entrepreneurs and investors in Africa is critical to promoting gender equality, creating economic opportunities, and contributing to the economic growth of the continent. By providing women with the tools, resources, and support they need to succeed in the investment sector. Together, we can help bridge the gender gap in investment and create a more inclusive and equitable society.
